Our Commitment

Repairverse is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including seniors and people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Accessibility is not just a feature for us - it's a core value. Our primary audience is seniors aged 60+, and we design with their needs at the forefront of every decision.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We regularly test our website to maintain and improve accessibility.

Accessibility Features

Our website includes the following accessibility features:

Visual Design

  • High Contrast: Text meets WCAG AA contrast requirements (minimum 4.5:1 ratio)
  • Large Text: Body text is at least 18px for better readability
  • Scalable: Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Clear Fonts: We use Inter, a clean sans-serif font designed for screens
  • Reduced Motion: Animations are minimized for users who prefer reduced motion

Navigation

  • Keyboard Accessible: All interactive elements can be accessed using a keyboard
  • Skip Links: "Skip to main content" link at the top of each page
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus states on all interactive elements
  • Logical Structure: Proper heading hierarchy (H1, H2, H3)
  • Semantic HTML: Proper use of landmarks (nav, main, footer)

  • Touch Targets: Buttons and links are at least 48x48 pixels
  • Spacing: Adequate spacing between clickable elements

We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:

  • Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible (we are updating these)
  • Some images may have generic alt text that could be more descriptive
